All the Little Miracles...

Writer's picture: Alianna Alianna

Hey friends! More often than I think any of us realize or will admit we let things that others say about us or to us dictate how and when we respond. Not only that we let their opinion about us change how we view ourselves and those around us. Scripture tells us that in Christ we have been made new, so it doesn't matter what happened in the past.

Its how we choose to spend each day that matters. Its how we view ourselves that matters.

The author of Song of Solomon writes,

"You are altogether beautiful darling, there is no flaw in you".

What if that was how we saw ourselves? We are beautiful, scared and broken people with a strong, patient and perfect God walking every step of the way with us.

We are imperfect and that's okay. Throughout scripture its not the perfect people who have it all together that God uses. In fact its far from being true, He chose the broken and misunderstood. The individuals that many would label a mess and used them to do amazing things. It doesn't matter what you look like, how you dress or even what color your hair is. God can and wants to use you for His glory.

Scripture tells us that we are the workmanship of God, created in Christ Jesus to do every good work. We have been given a destiny and a unique purpose.  There was a plan mapped out for your life long before you were born and a legacy just waiting to unfold.

Over the years I have been reminded time and time again of the importance of knowing God has a plan and purpose for your life, and I want you to understand that even though there are times you can't tell if He is even there, I promise you He is.

The Word says He is our ever present help in time of need, which means He is will you always and not only that He is also for you not against you. No weapon forged against you will ever prosper for the Lord is your strength and shield.

I am reminded of what David said in the psalms, when I was down you lifted me up, you heard my cry and answered it from on high. Our God is utterly amazing.

No matter what we face in life He is always right there beside us, picking us up and walking with us all the way through. It is my prayer for all of you that just as David declared so it would be for you,

"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the lord forever." - Psalm 23:6

This week I want to challenge you to take the time to remember all the little miracles God has done in your life and hold on to the blessings He has given you.

Much love friends,

Alianna
