There something incredible that happens when we invite the Holy Spirit into every aspect of our lives. He is ever present and working in and around us. I don't know about you but I like to start each new year off by setting aside distractions and seeking the Holy Spirit. Starting my year off seeking the presence of God and a deeper relationship with Him. Getting into the word of God and allowing the Holy Spirit to work in me. Directing and ministering to my spirit.
Dwelling within the presence of God and seeking Him above all the busyness and chaos that comes with our busy schedules can be hard at times. Refocusing our hearts and minds in the direction we should be focused in on and reminding our spirit of who our God is and what He has done. I could set here for hours and write about all the times He has walked with me through the hardest and darkest seasons of my life. I could pinpoint moments and conversations that I saw Him work whether in my own life or the lives of those around me.
Holy Spirit we want more of you! That is my earnest prayer for all of you. That your hearts cry would be Lord fill us up. Fresh wind. Our God is good and so kind friends! I know it is often hard to see it, but even in the moments we have the hardest time seeing the goodness of God, He is there working on our behalf.
"And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord." - Isaiah 11:2
Friends, no matter what may be going on around you or in your life at any given time remember. You are not alone! Our God is the God of miracles, He is good and He is kind. I want to challenge you this week to set aside some time to welcome the Holy Spirit into every aspect of your life. Allow Him to work in and through you.
