Faith... what we cling to in the good and the bad

I don't know about all of you, but there have been times in my life when having faith and holding onto hope was hard. At the same time, holding onto faith was the only thing that was keeping me pushing forward. Life is messy and it can be hard, but our God is the God of the impossible. He makes a way where there seems to be no way. When it is hard to hope that is when clinging to our faith becomes vital.

I think it is so important to understand that faith often acts as an anchor. Holding us together when it feels like everything else is falling apart. In those moments when life feels like it is falling apart and even in the moments when it feels like everything is going perfectly. Those are the moments that we need to hold onto faith. Our faith is an anchor, keeping us from drifting away.

"Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see. Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation. By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen. " - Hebrews 11: 1-3

The Word reminds us that faith is the substance of the things we hope for and it is the evidence of things we cannot see. It is so important for us to hold onto our hope. Cling to our faith and remember that we serve an amazing God. One who is more than able and who works all things according to His plans and purposes for our good.

Our God is good and He is kind. He is faithful and just and He will never go back on His word. On top of all of that, the word of the Lord will never return void. He is faithful to complete all that He has promised.

"Yet we know that a person is made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ, not by obeying the law. And we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be made right with God because of our faith in Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. For no one will ever be made right with God by obeying the law.” - Galatians 2:16

We are made whole by our faith in God. Trust that He is working all things for the good of those who love and trust Him. What an amazing God we serve!

Much love friends,

Alianna
